Data Engineer is an exciting and rewarding role. However, many are not sure what a data engineer does. This session kicks off the “Become an Azure Data Engineer” Learning Pathway (LP)way by sharing the responsibilities and skills of a data engineer. We will share a reference architecture for data engineering in Azure and demo some of the primary tools an Azure Data Engineer uses. The focus will be on real-world data engineer skills, but we will also highlight which skills are tested in the Azure Data Engineer Associate certification.
