Use your Baseline to find Problem Queries
Allen White
Your users are complaining about poor performance, but the “standard” metrics aren’t showing any problems. What do you do to find the problem queries? In this session we’ll talk about what to add to your baseline so you can identify where the problems lie. We’ll talk about how those metrics fit into the overall picture beyond CPU, Memory, and Disk issues to give you a bigger picture of the performance of the queries that may be causing the problems, and we’ll talk about looking into the history of those metrics to find patterns of performance that will further help you isolate issues.
