Multi-tenancy Patterns in Community PostgreSQL
Andrew Atkinson
Although Citus is open-source and offers both row-level and schema-level sharding, we might not want to reach for it from the beginning, but still build-in multi-tenancy patterns to our database design to better isolate and manage data and query volume growth. What are our options?
Let’s explore options within the community distribution of PostgreSQL, then expand the field to include sharding options using the open-source Citus capabilities. This presentation will expose you to a lot of options so you’re more equipped to choose what’s best for your system.
