Hybrid Tables in Power BI
Shabnam Watson
Hybrid tables are a game changer in that they provide the best of two worlds by allowing one table to have different storage modes for its different portions at the same time! The most common use case for Hybrid Tables is to load historical data into Power BI’s memory (import) to achieve fast query performance and to leave the most recent data in the backend (DirectQuery) for near real time results.
Join this session to learn about different table storage modes in Power BI including Hybrid Tables, different use cases of Hybrid Tables, and how to set them up using Power BI desktop and other third-party tools including Tabular Editor.
