DevOps is about Growing People rather than using Cool Tools
Hamish Watson
DevOps is not just about using the latest and greatest tools to automate software development & deployment processes. It is a culture that emphasizes collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement. While tools are important in enabling the DevOps culture, they are not the primary factor in achieving success.
A strong DevOps culture fosters trust & collaboration between development and operations teams. This collaboration leads to faster and more reliable software delivery, as well as improved quality and customer satisfaction. The DevOps culture encourages teams to take ownership of the entire software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and maintenance. Teams are encouraged to learn from failures and to continuously iterate/improve their processes, which is essential in a world where development is constantly evolving, and new technologies/practices are emerging all the time.
This session will showcase methods that are used and how to build the cultural foundation that will result in a successful implementation of DevOps practices. We will look at workflow management, reducing organization silos and removing constraints on delivering value to our clients.
