The session tries to explain the Accelerated database recovery (ADR) feature. It improves database availability, especially in the presence of long running transactions, by redesigning the SQL database engine recovery process. ADR is new in SQL Server 2019, and is available in Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance and Azure Synapse SQL.
