Building a Culture that Embraces Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion

While the remoteness of a virtual environment can provide comfort to many in the data world, it can also lead to a siloed culture that is riddled with misunderstandings and loneliness. At Fortified Data, we know that people are the heart of our business, and we want our team members to thrive mentally, physically, emotionally, and socially. This session will focus on what it takes to build a culture based on company core values which enables a remote world to have the connections of an in-person setting. We will dive into how to create a culture that embraces differences, how to establish core values and incorporate them into all facets of the business, hosting interactive virtual activities for team members and their families, personality assessments that empowers communication, and how hiring the right people is imperative to building a positive and intentional culture. Participants will leave this session with a few ready-made virtual family-friendly activities to share with their teams and ideas of how to incorporate and truly champion company core values. The most successful companies start with culture, then build on technical skill.
