Today, we’re very excited to launch an all-in-one Call for Speakers (CFS) for four different events that we’ll be hosting this year!
PASS Summit On Tour: New York | August 18-19
PASS Summit On Tour: Dallas | September 15-16
PASS Summit On Tour: Netherlands | October 1-2
PASS Summit 2025: Seattle | November 17-21
The new PASS Summit On Tour series are two-day events packed with opportunities to Connect, Share, and Learn. Each PASS Summit On Tour features a pre-conference day with eight 3-hour Deep Dive sessions, followed by a second day of twenty-five 60-minute general sessions, and will bring the most popular elements of PASS Summit to your local region.
PASS Summit 2025, held in the Summit Building at the Seattle Convention Center, will feature over 200 sessions: 14 pre-conference sessions and over 170 general sessions consisting of Deep Dive, Learning Pathway, General-60 (60-minute sessions), General-75 (75-minute sessions), as well as lightning talks, panel sessions and keynotes.
The planning of this year’s conference is weighted heavily on the feedback received in our attendee survey given out at the end of each PASS Summit, and the feedback we receive from our annual Insights survey, which is typically sent out in January/February.
For this year’s Insights survey, we received feedback from 380 community members and have consolidated the top findings in this handy infographic: PASS Insights Survey, which we hope will inspire and guide your session submissions.
Whether you’re a seasoned speaker or a new presenter, there has never been a better time than now, to make an impact and to share your knowledge, while contributing to the collective growth of the PASS community.
Between now and April 8, we’ll be accepting general submissions, and, as we’ve done in the past, have an Early Bird deadline of March 25 for those interested in submitting Pre-conference sessions and Learning Pathway proposals. For complete details, please review our respective Call for Speakers guides:
Don’t wait! Get your proposals together and log in to the Call for Speakers portal to submit to any or all of our events this year!
One housekeeping note we’d like to share; our PASS Program team has doubled! Please join me in welcoming Jemma Hunter (many of you are already acquainted, as she’s been involved in PASS Summit since 2021) to our team!
If you have any questions as you navigate this year’s Call for Speakers, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at speakers@passsummit.com.
Good luck!

PASS Program Team
We are thrilled to announce the opening of our call for volunteers for PASS Summit 2025 and the three PASS Summit On Tour events, taking place in New York, Dallas, and the Netherlands!
To make these events a success, we are seeking 33 dedicated volunteers to join our Program Committee. We have four separate review teams, one for each of the events, and one Special Projects team that will work across all four events.
Volunteer Responsibilities for the review teams will consist of the Abstract Review, PowerPoint Presentation Review, and Onsite tasks (if attending). The Special Projects team will not participate in the general Abstract Review but will be responsible for the final review of the selected programs for all four of the events – offering feedback and alternative recommendations based on the reviewed sessions by the other teams.
The time commitments for each team varies by event, so please make sure to note the timelines before applying. It is important that you can commit your time during the dates listed.
The time commitments vary by event, please review the times below to ensure that you can commit your time during these periods:
We will be looking for community members who are well-versed in each of the tracks, across a variety of topics. If you know your stuff, and the timelines above work, join us by applying for this year’s program committee. Your knowledge and expertise will directly impact and shape this year’s program across all four of our events: PASS Summit 2025 and PASS Summit On Tour: New York, Dallas, and the Netherlands! Become a volunteer today.
We’re excited to form this year’s committee and look forward to seeing your application. If you have any questions or concerns, let us know at speakers@passsummit.com.
PASS Summit Program Team
To kick-off things off, we’re excited to roll out our annual PASS Summit Insights Survey to better understand your needs, preferences, and what you’d like to learn this year. For every participant who completes the survey, Redgate will donate $1 to Charity: Water (up to the value of $500) as part of its mission to drive positive impact on the environment and ambition to be a water positive business by 2030.
We know that everyone faces challenges in their day-to-day work, and we want to know what those challenges and pain points are. Which focus areas and topics are most important to you and would be most beneficial to learn about at our PASS Summit events? Completing the PASS Summit Insights Survey will help inform the base of our content framework to ensure you get the information you need.
As a thank you for sharing your thoughts, you’ll be able to opt-in to a grand prize draw for a complimentary 3-day ticket to PASS Data Community Summit 2025 in Seattle! All entries must be received at 11:59 PM PT on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. The winner will be contacted by email within 48 hours of the survey closing.
Don’t wait! Go fill out the survey now!
Right on the heels of the PASS Summit Insights survey will be the opening of this year’s Call for Volunteers (CFV). We’re aiming to open the CFV for two weeks in February and will be looking for more volunteers than last year.
With the addition of the PASS Summit On Tour events, our goal is to establish our traditional Program Committee for PASS Summit in Seattle, as well as three smaller Program Committees for each of the PASS Summit On Tour events.
Selected volunteers will receive a complimentary ticket to the event that they are chosen to work on and will have access to discounts for the other PASS Summit events. As a further token of our appreciation, selected volunteers will also receive 12-month on-demand access to the PASS Summit 2025 session recordings, post-event.
If you know your stuff, are passionate about data, and want to support PASS Data Community Summit, join us and apply when the official Call for Volunteers opens next month. We hope to see your application!
For those of you interested in speaking at this year’s PASS Summit events, we will be consolidating the Call for Speakers (CFS) and opening the floor for all four events (PASS Summit and PASS Summit On Tour) at the same time. Keep an eye out for more information in the coming weeks as we look to open the CFS in early March.
