• Allison Harris & Sharon Reid, DBA Teaches Data Engineer Security Secrets Worth Stealing. This mother-daughter duo bridges the DBA and data engineering worlds, covering least privilege, secrets management, and audit traceability in language both sides actually use.

Wednesday: Govern What’s New

AI agents touching regulated data are the compliance question nobody had on their roadmap two years ago. Wednesday’s lineup treats that head-on, alongside the auditing and breach-response work that never goes out of style.

• Andreas Wolter & Fabiano Amorim, Inside Real SQL Server Breaches: Privilege Escalations and How to Stop It. Walk through real attack scenarios based on recent SQL Server vulnerabilities, mapped back to detection and hardening steps you can apply immediately.
• Durga Prasad InduTeja Aligeti & Ankit Aryan, Building Secure Text-to-SQL Chatbots with PostgreSQL RLS. See how to stop an AI chatbot from leaking data it shouldn’t see, using schema pruning, query validation, and Row-Level Security.
