PASS Summit West runs November 9-11, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency, but we know a lot of you will fly in early or extend your trip.

Here’s a few of our recommendations for what to see and do around all the great sessions!  

Catch the Seahawks on Game Day 

The reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks host the Arizona Cardinals at Lumen Field on Sunday, November 8, kickoff at 1:25 PM PT. Lumen Field is a 30-minute walk from the Hyatt Regency, or about 6 minutes by Uber, so it’s an easy add to your Sunday even if you don’t have a ticket. The stadium is one of the loudest in the league, and even hanging around the plaza on game day gets you the atmosphere without the price of a seat. 

The Sights You’ve Already Seen in Photos 

Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, and the original Starbucks are the three things everyone pictures when you say “Seattle,” and they’ve earned it. Pike Place is still a working market, not a tourist set piece, and it’s a 15-minute walk from the Hyatt Regency. The Space Needle observation deck gives you the clearest view of the skyline and Elliott Bay you’ll get anywhere in the city. The original Starbucks on Pike Place still has the line out the door, but it’s worth standing in once. 

Pioneer Square 

Pioneer Square is Seattle’s oldest neighborhood, and it looks it, in the best way. Cobblestone alleyways, tree-lined blocks, and a concentration of art galleries make it a good afternoon for wandering rather than checking things off a list. Grab a drink at one of the bars along Occidental Avenue and watch the neighborhood go by. 

Lake Union Park 

If the convention center starts to feel like a lot, Lake Union Park is the reset. It’s a quiet waterfront stretch surrounded by the tree-lined Google and Amazon campuses, and in November the fall colors are worth the walk on their own. Watch long enough and you’ll likely see a seaplane take off or land right on the lake. 

The Renovated Waterfront 

Seattle’s waterfront has been rebuilt over the past few years, with a major freeway relocated and replaced by pedestrian walkways, seating, and renovated piers with views out over the Puget Sound. The Seattle Great Wheel and the Seattle Aquarium are both here now. If you only have time for one outdoor stop between sessions, make it this one. 

Bainbridge Island 

This one takes more than an afternoon, but if your trip has the room for it, take the ferry across the Puget Sound to Bainbridge Island. The ride over gives you the best skyline view of Seattle you’ll find anywhere, and stepping off the ferry feels like arriving somewhere twenty years in the past. The main street, a 10-minute walk from the terminal, has wineries, breweries, restaurants, and shops worth an afternoon on its own, even if you never go further than that first block. 

Bonus: Index Town Wall 

We heard from some of our community members that this is a must see if you’ve got a full extra day and a car. Index town wall is about 90 minutes northeast of Seattle in the town of Index, and it’s one of the better-known granite climbing walls in the state, but you don’t need to climb to get something out of it. The trail up to the base gives you close-up views of the rock face and the Skykomish River below, with the Cascades doing most of the scenery work. November means fewer crowds than summer, though check conditions before you go, since weather in the mountains turns faster than it does in the city. 

Seattle in November is worth building a day or two around, whether that’s before the Sessions start or after the closing Keynote. See you at PASS Summit West!
