Take Off on Your Data Transformation Journey with Microsoft Fabric

Emilie Ronning

As a data engineer you are responsible for transforming the data from source to a data model ready for further analysis. A crucial part of the analytical solution, but still to some degree overlooked as the visual presentation of data is easier to consume for the end user. Microsoft Fabric closes the gap between different data roles and enables increased visibility of the work we do with data across roles.

In this session, you will learn how you can use Microsoft Fabric as a data engineer, how you can utilize pipelines and notebooks for ingesting and transforming data, making your data models more easily accessible to your data consumers. We will in this session create a small solution in Microsoft Fabric to provide you with the experience you need to start developing your solution. In addition, we will go through some decision factors you should consider for your solution in Microsoft Fabric.
Let’s board and embark on the journey together.
