Azure DevOps has been the end-to-end DevOps platform for Microsoft since it replaced Team Foundations Server, but in 2018, Microsoft purchased GitHub and also launched GitHub Actions. They haven’t made any announcements, but the word on the street is that GitHub Actions is the future. Attend this session to learn how to set up a CI/CD workflow in GitHub Actions and how GitHub Actions is different that Azure DevOps Pipelines. You’ll also see how the open source tool Flyway Community can be used to run database code in the workflow.
