The health and safety of everyone involved is a priority for the PASS Data Community Summit event team, and we appreciate your cooperation on our provisions and plans.
We encourage attendees to always exercise common sense and good judgment when traveling.
In the run up to PASS Summit we have continuously reviewed the latest public health and safety provisions and guidance on event entry requirements in order to ensure everyone's safety at the event. As per our event terms and conditions, all attendees will be required to comply with all current health and safety provisions (at the time of the event, Nov 17-21) and any other provisions implemented by Redgate at its discretion. Currently there are no special provisions. We will adjust our health and safety provisions as needed and will update this page with information about plans on-site.
We have been working closely with Visit Seattle in our planning for PASS Summit. Please check out their guidance around meeting safely in Seattle. Throughout the conference we will be in regular contact with Visit Seattle for their guidance and will keep attendees informed of any relevant updates as we receive them.
There are no vaccine or testing requirements to attend this event. You’re welcome to have flu shots and/or COVID-19 vaccination/booster ahead of arriving at the event. You’re also welcome to wear a mask should you feel at risk. We want to ensure that everyone who chooses to wear a mask feels accepted and welcome, so please respect the decision of others who choose to wear a mask.
If you are feeling unwell while on-site, head to the first-aid area located on level two. If you are at your hotel, please don’t attend the conference and risk passing any infection onto a fellow attendee. Should you need help, please refer to your hotel reception for advice and support. Rest assured that all of the sessions are recorded and will be available on-demand post event. A selection of the sessions will also be live streamed each day, so there will be plenty to watch live.
In the event of an emergency evacuation, an alarm will sound. Follow directions from venue staff and make your way quickly and calmly to an emergency exit. Be aware of any hazards or dangers around you and proceed to a safe area. Follow the advice of venue staff, security personnel, and first responders.
At registration you had the option to inform us of any food allergies. We carefully select our menu choices and aim to provide a variety of food to cater to various needs. If you're vegetarian, you should select your food choices directly off the main buffet, as we offer a wide variety of options to suit your needs and items are labelled for common allergens.
If you selected that you have a dietary restriction at time of registration (outside of the above), please collect it from the “Pre-Ordered Dietary Meal” area in the dining hall (look out for the large monitor screen with info).
