Uros Milanovic
Azure SQL Managed Instance is a fully managed platform-as-a-service offering for deploying SQL workloads in the cloud. As a PaaS service it relies on multiple Azure components including compute, networking, and storage. These components combined provide a variety of configuration options reflected in different service tiers powered by customer selected hardware, organized in virtual cluster, and maintained and patched in the time spans that customer define. We will go over configuration options and explain how they impact the deployment flows.
