Automating TPCC-Like Testing

Doing TPCC-like testing is time-consuming because we need to repeat the same tests, changing one of the variables until we reach resource saturation. HammerDB and PowerShell make it easier. HammerDB is a leading open-source benchmarking tool for databases. PowerShell allows you to easily wrap HammerDB commands to be like cmdlets with an output that can be piped to other cmdlets, thus simplifying the tedious process of load testing. This session is a real-world scenario of how to use the PowerShell Crescendo module and fully automate HammerDB TPCC-like tests for SQL Server.
