Migrations to Azure SQL – Tales from the Field

On the Azure FastTrack Product Group we work with a lot of customer when it comes to migrating their SQL Server environments into the cloud. It’s important to understand the tools you can use, but there are additional things to consider. What are the business requirements for the SQL Instances and the databases? Are we using the path of least resistance, looking at a digital transformation in stages, or building something new? How do we identify the key concepts, derisk any migration, and accomplish the goal. In this session we hope to point you to resources and give you tips on how to solve those questions.
